Hoop Cam AI is designed to be private. Everything the app does happens on your device.
Nothing. Hoop Cam AI does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking.
The app uses your device’s camera to detect the ball and players and to record video, and the microphone to record audio with your clips. This processing happens entirely on your device in real time. Camera and microphone data is used only to provide the app’s features and is never uploaded to us or anyone else.
Videos you record are stored locally on your device (in the app’s folder, also visible in the Files app under “Hoop Cam AI”). They remain under your control and are never uploaded by the app. If you choose to share or move a recording using iOS, that action is governed by the service you share it with.
Small preferences (such as your marked court area) are stored locally on your device using standard iOS storage. They never leave your device.
The app does not collect any data from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
